Indonesian Dishes
Learn the names of a just a few of the different dishes that you can eat in Indonesia.
In such a huge and varied country there are bound to be a variety of different foods. One popular food is Masakan Padang - cooking from Padang in Sumatra - which can be found in much of the archipelago. This delicious but spicy food includes favourites such as Redang - a spicy beef curry cooked in coconut milk.
We haven't even tried to include a comprehensive list of dishes, but we have made a list of some of the more common dishes you are likely to come across. Happy eating!
